The second Odessa film festival will take place from July 15th till July 23rd this year. Ezhi Shtur, the Polish actor and director, known as Johnny Pollack in a gangster comedy "Déjà vu" is the chairman of jury. It was declared at press conference by Victoria Tigipko, president of the festival.
Besides the competition program, several open-air shows, devoted to the Great Mute cinema will take place this summer - it has been informed at the press-service OIFF. At the very beginning of ОIFF a demonstration of fantastic movie "Metropolis", 1927 accompanied by a symphonic orchestra will take place at the Potemkinsky ladder.
The festival organizing committee has promised to make public the basics of the film program and the list of OIFF-2011 stars in the beginning of June.
