Hotel "Imperial"

On a place of taken down hotel "Spartak" located at the corner of streets of Deribasovskaya, 25 and lane Red, 4, there will be a new five-stars hotel – "Imperial" in three years.
Public service of protection of a cultural heritage at the culture and tourism Ministry has already approved the outline sketch of a new building prepared by group of Odessa architects under the direction of Vladimir Glazyrina.
At a recently taken place press conference Vladimir Glazyrin has noticed that the historical name "Imperial" which the old hotel has lost in 30th years of the last century when it has been renamed in "Spartak" will be returned again to constructed hotel.
Except everything, authors of the project have suggested to recreate architecture of a building in "modernist style", characteristic for Odessa of the end of a XIX-th century. In the same style the nearby hotel «Big Moscow», being on reconstruction is executed today.
- Modernist style elements are also at the hotel "Passage" building, - Vladimir Lvovich has noted. - So the future hotel should be entered harmoniously abreast the buildings next to it.
On a plan of designers the building of "Imperial" will reach the same point with hotel «Big Moscow» - 34 m 80 sm. As a result both buildings form so-called gate on the Greek area and the Aleksandrovsky prospectus.
The hotel will be related to five-stars level. In an underground part of hotel it is planned to place a two-stored parking on 125 auto-places, shops, other objects of an infrastructure. In an elevated part of a building designers offer 7 floors. The hotel has 267 numbers. Besides, it is planned to place restaurant for 330 places, a conference hall for 1000 persons with the area more than 600 square meters, with the necessary modern equipment. There are projects of the zones of rest with buffets, a winter garden, show rooms in two atriums.
